Danny Dredz, Whats Not To Like? I almost deleted the program because it said free and it was asking me to subscribe. I really glad I didn’t. I have thousands of music files and when it comes to organization I’m some kind of nut. As with most things you have to put in some kind of work.

After a couple of weeks I decided to pay, wow this thing is really fast and helpful. Not for lazy people, some songs some people never heard of tag it yourself.

Some editors only work within their applications i.e. ITunes outside of their system your tags don’t work. I download a ton of reggae all those underscores WHY! It makes me sick to look at them.

TangoOversway, Tried One Album - Enough to Reject This Program I wasn’t clear, from the description, if this was soley for my own editing of tags or if it included downloading tags from any music sites to fix poorly tagged files. It doesn’t matter. I tried to load in the files in one folder from one album and that was enough to make me decide to delete the program. I dragged and dropped one folder containing all the files for one album. That was 19 files. It stopped three times, while reading those files, to ask me to subscribe to the full program. I couldn’t even load one CD’s worth of music without being nagged three times!

Once it was done, I looked it over, just in case, then quit it and deleted it. I’m not about to spend my money on an app that has only basic capabilities and nags me that often! I’m not about to spend my money on an app that has only basic capabilities and nags me that often! GT4Guy, It just takes time but works well I actually had to mess around to figure it out but it works as promised. I had a bunch of music downloaded without the proper tags and everytime I change computers or something happens during an upgrade I would have to redo everything in itunes. I figured it would be better to properly tag the files for once.

It is time consuming to get the correct info on each song and then load into itunes but well worth it. I haven’t seen one pop up as everybody notes. Guess I am lucky.

How to Edit ID3 Tags for MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A Music Files Free ID3 Tag Editor Tool - Helps You Edit ID3 Tags Easily for Any Music Files What’s ID3 Tag? ID3 is a metadata container most used on MP3 audio format. It provides audio data standard for MP3 music files, including Title, Artist, Year, Genre and other great information. All ID3 tags are supported by our common use player software and hardware, like iTunes, Windows Media Player, YME and hardware players like iPod, Creative Zen, Sony Walkman etc.

ID3v1 and ID3v2 Although ID3 is sometimes referred to as a standard, the term applies only in the de facto sense, as no standardization body was involved in its creation nor has such an organization given it a formal approval status. There are two versions for ID3: ID3v1 and ID3v2. In 1996, Eric Kemp developed a method to resolve the audio data storing problem. Now this method was known as ID3v1, which finally became the de facto standard for storing metadata in MP3s. ID3v2 was created by multiple contributors, which is no relation to ID3v1. ID3v2 tags are of variable size, and usually occur at the start of the file, to aid streaming media. They consist of a number of frames, each of which contains a piece of metadata.

Why We Need to Edit ID3 Tag Information? We usually collect MP3 music files from disparate sources, like buying music from iTunes, Amazon or other music sites, or sharing from friends, families, or downloading from some music sharing websites, P2P websites. If you buy the music from store, there will be whole ID3 tag stored in these music files.

But if you download the music from websites, or shared by friends, the ID3 tag may be broken. So if we want our music organized, we have to find a third-party application of platform to edit the ID3 tag. Why choose Any Audio Converter?
